In honor of the end of Fall Tennis lessons, DSI would like to shine a spotlight on volunteer, Sarah Klapper, who organized the lessons this year. Sarah has volunteered with Down Syndrome Indiana for three years beginning when she was a freshman in high school. She is currently a hard-working junior at Park Tudor School. She is an active tennis player inside and outside of school, she is an active member of student council as well as many other clubs offered at Park Tudor School. When she graduates, she plans to go on to college. When asked what she loves about volunteering with DSI, Sarah said, “I love being able to teach kids about something I am passionate about. It warms my heart to see how happy the kids get when they start to understand how to play tennis.” Thank you, Sarah! We look forward to seeing you again in the Spring!
